The Iconic Lithgow Halloween Celebration returns in 2026

Lithgow’s iconic Halloween celebration returns in 2026 for its 13th year, bringing the community together once again for a weekend of spooky fun.

The main street party takes place on Saturday 31 October, with festivities kicking off the night before with a special launch event on Friday 30 October. Across the weekend, the Lithgow region will come alive with a mix of free and ticketed events featuring music, performances, great food, and a fun Halloween atmosphere.

The heart of the celebration is, as always, the signature Main Street event, this year on Saturday 31st October. A vibrant, free street party designed especially for families and the wider community. Expect a lively, safe, and welcoming atmosphere with costumed crowds, live entertainment, interactive activities, market stalls, local food vendors, and plenty of opportunities to show off your Halloween creativity.

Whether you’re into cosplay, family-friendly activities, local culture, or a touch of the eerie, there’s something for everyone. More details about the weekend program will be announced soon.
